Update on the Blog

So I have been lacking on posting or making this thing take off at all! Big surprise there! So I have decided to take this thing to another level. It is not where I want it but I am not ready to ask Mark to help me with it yet. I like this being MINE! However there are such great things I steal from others and reproduce that are blogs I felt the need to include them thus sharing them. The original idea of course was to BE INSPIRED... in keeping with that you will notice all those that I follow (or stalk) in blog world. It goes without saying but PLEASE check out these inspirations. They are so much fun to spark ideas from. I promise to make this visiting thing a more regular occurance soon enough. Once we get back to school over with then we will for sure make posting a regular thing. If there is anyone out there thanks for listening!

What we have been up to this summer

So we are not getting much done in the way of progress on either house. The kids have decided they would rather waste the summer away being in trouble for not working on cleaning their rooms and practicing their instruments! So because I cannot get Blythe's room in the works...I have taken on a new obsession... SEWING! I know me who can't even thread a sewing machine usually let alone sew! Here is the kicker... it is usually a project a day. So here are some of my projects so far. I have others in the works for the girls.

So I decided to finally get the sewing machine out. It seemed a daunting thing but it was not as bad as I thought. It has a lot of bells and whistles but even with its error messages I was greatful not to be wasting my time! Now on to the big dress!

Little late for Merry Christmas!

Although it is a little late for a Merry Christmas wish. I thought I would add it anyway so everyone(or me- however you look at it) can see this great pic of my super cute kids. The kids had the ultimate Christmas wish for them SNOW! We even had to cut our time in Oklahoma short for fear of being stuck there past the break. Anyways man those are some cute kids. I hope anyone who reads this had an amazing holiday and a great start to the new year.

New Year's Resolutions

With our Sunday school classes recent discussion on New Year's resolutions. Which I typically do not adhere to because they do not stick as a new year resolution. SO this year instead of a New Year's Resolution in the typical sense I have opted for a very simple idea. My "New Year's Resolution" is simple BE INSPIRED! I watched a friend in class do that while we were talking about fitness goals and I just thought huh, that is what everyone needs more of. So no matter how I find myself the time each day I will keep BE INSPIRED open to my own interpretation each and every day this year. Best of Luck to you and your resolutions.
